Found near Jurassic Oxford Clay deposits near Weymouth.
I think it might be from a brittle star ? (£10) |

sharply. Peg like teeth. ? Bad mistake. Can't remember where
this was found. (£15) |

Bizarre find ! From the gault at Folkestone. The ammonite is
common (see the section on ammonites) preserved in a beautiful
black phosphate. But after cleaning, the shark tooth became
apparent. Bizarre because in many collecting visits and many
ammonite finds I have never come across any other shark teeth.
This must be a very old shark unlike all of the others featured
which are tertiary. SOLD |

Rare find. I was reliably informed that this represents
a pathalogic. If you look carefully the tooth appears
serrated. But I am assured that this is due to a defect in
the DNA in the enamel of the tooth. I must admit that all
other teeth of this kind, that I have found, are not
serrated. (£30) |
